“THE CAPACITY TO CARE IS WHAT GIVES LIFE ITS DEEPEST MEANING AND SIGNIFICANCE”

Deciding when and what kind of additional care might be needed for a loved one can be tough for many families. Maintaining independence is often key, and the fear of losing it often presents resistance to any type of care. Every individual need is different. That is why it is critical that an individual plan of care is created for each person. Since the situation is often hard to gauge and the refusal to accept the need for care can be part of the normal process, our team is trained to assess the situation in the home with the individual and family members to create the best plan of care possible. That is why we are Creative Caregivers.

OUR MISSION:

Creative Caregivers was founded on the idea that in-home care could be developed with customized plans based on individualized needs and added activities to keep seniors engaged and independent in their homes for as long as possible allowing them and their families to feel confident with the care they are receiving.

Creative Caregivers provides the highest standard of in-home care for seniors and other adults in need of assistance with the variety of services that we provide. It may be as simple as recovering from surgery, or even just added support to the family, hospital to home, or it may be the activities of daily living that may have become too much. Whatever the situation, our caregivers/companions are available to provide support services to you and your family members after a proper assessment is conducted in your home.

Meet the Owner

Kim Arrington began her caregiving when she was just seven years old, tending to her great grandmother after a fall. Although her role was to serve as a watch full eye, she took it on very seriously. At that time, Kim knew her calling was in healthcare and dreamed of the time when she could help others. Kim attended Georgia Southern University and participated in the Star Student Program at Memorial Health University in Savannah Georgia. She had the opportunity to work in many clinical areas there before advancing her career.

It was under great leadership that she worked in marketing and strategic planning, and advanced to operations and physician management before leaving Savannah and moving to Florida. Since moving to Florida 23 years ago, Kim has worked in healthcare advertising, management for the largest oxygen company in the country, owned her own oxygen company, worked with traumatic brain injury, and served as the Vice President of Operations for an International Radiology Company. After her last role in operations she worked as a consultant in home health, which is what led her to pursue owning this business. She believed there had to be a better way to care for the elderly.
